Refund/Cancellation Policy
All our transactions are final and typically no refunds will be given. However, If there was a mistake such as registering twice by accident, we understand and will work with the event organizers to rectify the situation. We defer these requests to the event director because in many cases they have a no refund policy due to nature of their event. A few examples are a race, a dance or a fundraiser. Also, many of our partners are non-profit fundraisers who need the money to operate, so we “settle up” with them during the registration period to help their cash flow. Please contact us if you encounter an issue using Register-Wizard, and we will do everything within our knowledge and experience to satisfy you.
What information do we collect?
We collect information from you when you register on our site. When ordering or registering on our site, as appropriate, you may be asked to enter your: name, e-mail address, mailing address, phone number, birthdate or credit card information. Credit card information is stored securely with our payment processor Stripe.com
How do we use your information?
Any of the information we collect from you may be used in one of the following ways:
- To enter you into the correct event category
Your birthdate (or race day calculated age) is necessary for placement in the correct category to be eligible for awards in races.
- To process transactions
Your information, whether public or private, will not be sold, exchanged, transferred, or given to any other company for any reason whatsoever, without your consent, other than for the express purpose of delivering the purchased product or service requested.
- To send periodic emails
The email address you provide may be used to send you important information about the event you registered for, respond to inquiries, and/or other requests or questions. You will only receive marketing emails if you opt-in to receive marketing. emails from us.
How do we protect your information?
We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you place an order. We implement our software platform on with Microsoft Azure services for reliability and scalability. All supplied sensitive/credit information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then stored securely by our payment provider Stripe.com. Access to our registration database is restricted to authorized users only and accessible only to those authorized with special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential. After a transaction, your credit card information is not stored on our servers.
Do we use cookies?
Yes, we use cookies to maintain where you are inside the registration system screens. This allows you to easily navigate and maintain a shopping cart during the checkout process. Our analytics and data insights parts such as Google Analytics and Hotjar may also use cookies to track the ways in which you navigate pages of our website.
Do we disclose any information to outside parties?
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information. This does not include trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or servicing you, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others rights, property, or safety. However, non-personally identifiable visitor information may be provided to other parties for marketing, advertising, or other uses.
